LaserCap Offers Discreet Treatment for Hair Loss

There is a new treatment for hair loss that proves a hat can do more than hide your thinning hair.

The first device of its kind, LaserCap offers patients a discreet and non-invasive treatment option, which can be easily worked into their daily routine. The laser, embedded with over 220 laser diodes, simply fits into any hat, which when put on, gives patients complete coverage of their scalp.

The LaserCap is unique because it doesn't require the patient to stand in front of a mirror manually 'combing' with a laser device. Treatment simply consists of wearing the hat for 15 minutes, which can easily be combined with exercise, work, or even grocery shopping.

Low Level Laser Therapy devices have been approved by the FDA for treating hair loss and there are numerous other products out on the market. These include the Erchonia THL-1, Sunetics Laser Brush and the HairMax LaserComb.
As with any treatment, there are limitations to what laser therapy can do. If hair follicles are dead and gone and there's no hair production, you aren't likely to see much improvement.
