'Dr. Spencer Reid' Shows Early Signs of Hair Loss

For 1/3 of all men, hair loss begins in their 30s. This is typically seen first as recession in the temporal points, and Matthew Gray Gubler is a good example. At 34 years old, he's already showing signs of hairline recession in the temporal points, as better observed in these photos

Matthew, best known as Dr. Spencer Reid in CBS's Criminal Minds, is also starring in the film Suburban Gothic, out on Friday.

Early intervention is the key to stopping hair loss in its tracks - that's why it's important for men in their 30s to consult with a board-certified hair restoration specialist, even before they notice signs of thinning (once hair loss becomes visible, 50% of strands have already been lost). A hair restoration professional can test you to see if you're genetically predisposed to male pattern hair loss, as well as evaluate other health/lifestyle factors that may contribute to hair loss. They can also begin preventive treatments ahead of time. Hopefully, Matthew is already seeing a qualified doctor - if not, he should consider doing so soon.
