Are the Avengers Losing Their Hair?

Are the Avengers losing their super powers?

Out of the franchise's five leading men, how many do you think are showing early signs of hair loss?

The answer: all five.

As stated before on this blog, Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth both show signs of recession - but add to that list Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner and Robert Downey Jr.

In all of the photos temporal recession is clearly evident. Evans spoke with E! Online about his hair loss fears years ago. Aside from the temporal points, however, the hairline looks fairly healthy, so he may already be undergoing treatment - such as Propecia or a minoxidil formulation (I'd recommend Formula 82M).

Hopefully all of the Avengers will take their hair loss seriously. After all, how often is a super-hero bald? That look usually goes to the villain.

Recession Alert: Mark Ruffalo

Actor Mark Ruffalo was photographed lately looking a bit more mature than normal. The Avengers' star seems to be taking a page from George Clooney's book and is embracing his inner silver fox!

But in addition to his salt and pepper locks, Mark is also seeing a bit of temporal recession, which isn't at all uncommon for a man his age (45). 40 percent of men in their 40s experience hair loss and the number increases to 50 percent as men enter their 50s. But the good news is, while his hairline is maturing, he is fortunate to have an otherwise full head of hair.

It isn't too late for Ruffalo to consider a proactive hair regimen of FDA-approved Propecia or Rogaine, which could help him avoid any further recession. He would hardly be the first actor to take action against hair loss, more celebrities are investing in hair restoration than ever before. New technology and non-invasive procedures are selling points for many actors looking to enhance their looks discreetly.
