Recession Alert - Harry Styles

Boy bander Harry Styles was recently photographed with early signs of a receding hairline.

While the singer, 21, may seem too young for hair loss, it is actually not all that uncommon in a man's twenties, and over 20 percent may experience it. Thankfully, for Harry, his hair loss doesn't appear too problematic yet, but he should definitely start taking it seriously. By being proactive now, he can stop male pattern hair loss in its tracks and maintain a thick, natural-looking hairline well into old age.

When it comes to hair loss, preventative care is key. Science has proven if you wait until the hair loss is visible to the naked eye, you're too late - you've already lost 50 percent.

Hugh Jackman Says, "Being Bald is the Best!"

Hugh Jackman, 46, thinks everyone should shave their head, at least once. The actor came to this conclusion after his recent bald stint as part of his character transformation for the upcoming Peter Pan movie, in which he stars as Blackbeard.

Jackman opted to really shave his head after learning a bald cap would require 45 extra minutes in the makeup chair, and he's apparently very happy with the decision. "I recommend everyone to shave their head at least once in their life," the actor told Access Hollywood."For me, I'm a typical guy – lazy. So hair is just a hassle."

While it sounds like Jackman enjoyed going bald, as you can see from the above photo, taken this week, his hair has since grown back. And despite some temporal point recession, his hairline is looking pretty good for his age. Though he could benefit from some preventative treatments to slow down or stop the recession from deepening.

Tom Cruise - Hair Loss-Proof?

April 2013 (photo by PR Photos)

Tom Cruise seems unstoppable. His new film, Oblivion, is #1 at the box office ... and at the age of 50, his hair looks better than many guys in their 30s. Compare the above picture, taken at the Oblivion premiere on April 10th, with this picture from 2003:

Although Cruise does have some mild recession in the temporal points, overall his hair is in remarkable shape. By the age of 50, most men will experience noticeable hair loss. This raises the question, is it his genes or preventive treatments? I wouldn't put it past Cruise to have started preventive treatments early on - the most likely candidates are Propecia and Rogaine. Although low level laser therapy and Viviscal are also possible.

Whatever he's doing, it's definitely working. If he sticks to a multi-therapy approach, he could still have this strong, full hairline 10 years from now.
