Oscar hopeful Michael Fassbender has quickly risen to the top of Hollywood's A-list, but as you can see from the photos, he's still just a regular guy, fighting the same receding hairline as millions of men. 

Fassbender, 38, is seeing some deepening recession in his hairline, but is lucky that his hair loss seems to be isolated to that area, at least for now. His maturing hairline is normal for a man his age, in fact, as he approaches 40, his risk increases to 40 percent. 

It may be a good time for the actor to think about a proactive hair regimen of FDA-approved Propecia, or Rogaine, which could help him avoid further recession.
