Donald Trump Hair Debate - Dr. Bauman on 'The Bald Truth' September 1st

I will be appearing on Spencer Kobren's "The Bald Truth" radio show tomorrow, September 1st, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time for a discussion about Donald Trump's hair.

For years, Trump has been the target of jokes and suspicion about his hair, which many believe to be fake. Tune into Spencer's show tomorrow night to hear my take on it. Earlier this summer, I wrote about Trump's 'do and how it compares to another GOP candidate. Hair loss is believed to subtly influence Americans' attitudes toward presidential candidates, and each election year the issue is debated. Here's a recent article by the Washington Post on how Trump's hairdo would fare on the world stage, and one from last year on how baldness could impact Marco Rubio's bid.

YouTube's Live Hair Transplant Attracts Record-Breaking 70,000 Viewers

Over 70,000 consumers tuned in to the first ever YouTube Live hair transplant on Friday, November 18th, as I performed a second NeoGraft Follicular-Unit Extraction (FUE) on weblebrity Kevin “Nalts” Nalty. The live hair transplant surgery was broadcasted live on YouTube’s new, interactive webcast platform, YouTube Live, and simulcasted on Spencer Kobren’s The Bald Truth radio show, GFQ web radio network, Ustream, JustinTV, Switcher radio and iTunes radio.

The live hair transplant webcast created a new medical experience by allowing viewers to become active participants in the surgical process like never before, including a live Q&A with myself and Nalty during the actual procedure. Viewers were also able to follow and connect through social media channels Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn during the broadcast.

Since the live hair transplant event received overwhelmingly positive feedback, we are already looking into future opportunities to combine new technology and social media platforms for patient-education outreach campaigns. We’ve had an unbelievable response to the event and will go even bigger next time, which will include HD syndication on LiveStream.

For those who missed the historic YouTube Live broadcast, the archived video is available here: http://www.thebaldtruth.com.
