Tom Cruise - Hair Loss-Proof?

Tom Cruise seems unstoppable. His new film, Oblivion, is #1 at the box office ... and at the age of 50, his hair looks better than many guys in their 30s. Compare the above picture, taken at the Oblivion premiere on April 10th, with this picture from 2003:

Although Cruise does have some mild recession in the temporal points, overall his hair is in remarkable shape. By the age of 50, most men will experience noticeable hair loss. This raises the question, is it his genes or preventive treatments? I wouldn't put it past Cruise to have started preventive treatments early on - the most likely candidates are Propecia and Rogaine. Although low level laser therapy and Viviscal are also possible.

Whatever he's doing, it's definitely working. If he sticks to a multi-therapy approach, he could still have this strong, full hairline 10 years from now.

How Does Tom Cruise Do It?

An almost 50-year old Tom Cruise continues to keep his remarkably full hairline. Which leaves many asking, how does he do it? As most people know, the hair loss risk increases with age. But, specifically, at his age, Mr. Cruise is defying a nearly 50-percent chance of hair loss! Again, how does he do it?

It's my guess that Mr. Cruise has taken a very proactive approach in protecting his hairline over the last 10 to 20 years, and probably uses some type of preventative treatment - like FDA approved Propecia. I also wouldn't be surprised if he's used Rogaine from time to time (although treatment should be consistent to be effective) and low level laser therapy.

Just a hunch, but hair as good as his usually requires medical intervention. But will it last forever? Not without medical treatments like the ones I described above. Hair loss today is a treatable condition but proactive treatment and early detections are key to achieving optimal results!
