Sun-Sentinel Spotlights New "Hair Coach" Program

This weekend, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel newspaper published a feature story on Bauman Medical Group's new "Certified Hair Coach" program for salons. This is the first program of its kind in the country.

The goal of this program is to teach salons and hair stylists about the basics of hair loss, detection and treatment, so that they can point customers in the right direction. The program also teaches stylists how to use HairCheck in order to analyze hair loss and hair breakage metrics and track a person's progress. Hair stylists are the first line of defense when it comes to fighting hair loss, as they're often the first to spot signs of thinning and often the first to hear of a person's hair concerns.

For those concerned about hair loss, it's important to always seek out a board-certified hair restoration physician. This hair loss specialist will do a full analysis of a person's hair loss symptoms to determine their cause, and can provide safe, effective treatment options that will help.
